Refurbished in 2006 this big, interestingly nooked, crannied and gardened ex boozer is the realisation of a dream held by business partners Mark Loughborough and Sean Kelly since they were at boarding school together. Their determination to 'get it absolutely right' is a combination of hard won experience and a lot of nous about the current London scene. With Kiwi chef Brad Ryan heading the kitchen brigade, Mark and Sean can perfect their dream of creating something that used to exist in this country and should exist again - a pub that's as comfortable as your own front room, yet feels like a treat every time you walk through the door.
